We at Finnester, are aware of the history. How plastics have evolved, faced hurdles along the way. Our own current hurdle is to trash the image of “painting plastics” being a hoax. Plastics industry has seen its fair share of snake-oil-salesmen. We don’t paint plastics. We study them, sand them, coat them, sand them again, coat them some more and deliver the now shielded carbon fiber towards 900°C.
It shouldn’t be possible what we achieve. A small Finnish company from the city of Lahti says: “It is.”
You may not understand what we do, but all you need to know is that plastic isn’t going to be afraid of any flames anymore, anywhere.
