DERA FLOW is a high solid 2 component epoxy base coat for various industrial applications. It cures at room temperature to form a hard , but easy to sand surface that has good overa ll properties . It is not recommended for final surface a topcoat such as HybridRED is required. DERACURE CURING AGENT 100 is used as a hardener.

general purpose industrial applications 


All surfaces must be dry and before application dust, oil or dirt is removed by appropriate means. Pre treat ment by sanding is recommend to ensure proper adhesion.

composite / gel coat  sanding with 80/120 grit   
wood / MDF  sanding with 180 grit  DeraFLOW 100 primer 

The working temperature should be 20 24°C. The c uring agent is supplied with the resin part. Add the curing agent accordingly and mix the components well in the given ratio (mechanical mixing unit is recommended, approx. 300 rpm). The mixing ratio is given on the label.

After proper mixing use airless high pressure spray unit to apply product directly to prepared and cleaned surface.

  • Pressure : 160 180 bar
  • Clean tools with acetone or equivalent.

The coated surface must be protected from direct water contact for 12 15 hours after application. The coating s urface is tack free after 15 hours depending on the conditions. The product will reach complete cure within 7 10 days at room temperature. Top c oat application sh ould be done between 1 6 72 hours.

Storage & Handling

Keep tightly capped when not in use. Handle in a well ventilated area. Store indoors at room temperature in the original containers kept tightly closed. Protect fr o m direct sun light. Detailed safety information is contained in the material data safety sheet.
